Jeremy Scannell

Administrative Services Officer 

Jeremy joined the Public Defender’s office in July 2021 and serves as the Administrative Services Officer. Jeremy leads the department’s administrative support functions including fiscal, human resources, clerical support, grant administration, procurement, and customer service.

Jeremy transferred to the Public Defender’s Office from the Department of General Services where Jeremy started his county career in 2013. While with the General Services department Jeremy worked with the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program assisting clients before moving to the administrative services division to become the contracts team manager and purchasing analyst.

Prior to working for the County Jeremy spent 15 years in retail banking starting as a bank teller and rising through the ranks to a Branch Manager.
